Since 2003, Moonlight Brewery has grown a share of its hops here on site. Approximately a quarter of an acre is in production. Harvest is usually around the beginning of September, weather dependent. From the freshly picked hops, the Homegrown Ale (aka Greenbud Ale) is made, as well as the Subliminal Ale, which is new for 2007.
